Working across Ireland and internationally, he produces records, tours with productions and creates music and sound for theatre, dance and film. He produces albums and songs with bands and musicians across genres, including punk, folk, traditional music, metal and contemporary orchestral music.
He ran Big Garden Recording for fourteen years and has collaborated with artists including Roger Doyle, Niwel Tsumbu and Mel Mercier. His theatre and dance work includes productions with Dead Centre, Luail, CoisCéim, Brokentalkers, The Ark, Gate Theatre, Mermaid Arts Centre and Project Arts Centre, among many others.
Whether shaping a recording or mixing a live performance, he listens for what gives the music its character. His approach combines creative curiosity and technical precision with an instinctive feel for the performers and the room.
